Bruce Barnett - Wagyu Biltong Knives

Wagyu Biltong celebrates local Western Australian legends – those who
have taken their art and products to the highest level of perfection. Our first
legend is Bridgetown based knifemaker – Bruce Barnett.

Bruce is an expert craftsman and has been making knives for over 20 years. He is a member of the Australian Knifemakers Guild, founding and life
member of the Knife Art Association and the first international member of the
South Texas Slipjoint Cartel.

Internationally recognised for his knives, he took home the award for
Best Folding Knife at the 2024 Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide Knife Shows as well as Best In Show (Brisbane) and Best Art Knife (Adelaide).

Wagyu Biltong Co challenged Bruce to design and build an exclusive limited range of biltong knives. The challenge was to both celebrate the heritage of the classical South African biltong knife and to design a Barnett custom version. Materials chosen were hard wearing CPM154 stainless steel for the blade and Black Mulga for the handle as unique WA feature.

These collector pieces pay homage to tradition whilst celebrating a
